Address Book Files
 

Polycom units include  the ability to display a directory of known videoconference sites. To eliminate the need for manual entry of the numerous sites within IFAS, preconfigured files are maintained for populating the Polycom directory or Address Book.  Various Microsoft Excel comma-delimited format (*.CSV) files are available for importing to the Polycom unit using a PC program for Viewstation models and a web interface for VSX models. An .XML file is available for use with PVX software on a PC.

Depending on the Polycom model in use, different files need to be used. Select the Polycom model in use and select the appropriate file to download to your PC. Using the wrong file will cause unexpected results when using the Polycom Directory, Address Book or PVX application.

To download any of these files to your PC:

  1. Right-Click on the desired file and

  2. select "Save Target As..."

  3. Select the PC directory
