The Polycom FX model can
support optional output devices. These devices include:
DVD/VHS Recorder
Video Projector
2nd TV/Monitor
3rd TV/Monitor
All components are
color coded.
VHS/DVD Player
Connections:
Audio-in -
locate this symbol that is next to the associated
receptacles on the back of the VHS/DVD player to receive
audio signals.
Right audio - Insert the red plug into the receptacle with a red
color or labeled "audio in".
Left audio - Insert the white plug into the
receptacle with a white color or labeled "audio in".
Video-in - locate this symbol that is located next to the
associated receptacles on the back of the Polycom FX unit.
Composite video - Insert the yellow RCA plug into
the receptacle with a yellow color.
Polycom FX connections for
VHS/DVD Player:
Audio-out - locate this symbol that should be next to
the associated receptacles on the back of the Polycom FX unit to send
audio signals.
Right audio -
Insert the red plug into the receptacle with a red
color.
Left audio -
Insert the white plug into the receptacle with a white
color.
Video-out - locate this symbol that should be next to
the associated receptacles on the back of the Polycom FX unit to output
video signals.
Composite video - Insert the yellow RCA plug into
the receptacle with a yellow color. Do not plug in the yellow RCA composite video cable if the S-video cable
can be used.
S-video - Insert the yellow plug into the
receptacle with a yellow color or labeled "video in".
TV/Monitor:
S-video - Insert the yellow plug into the
receptacle with an monitor-2 or monitor-3 symbol.
Video Projector:
Video -
Insert the 15-pin plug into the receptacle with the
monitor-4 symbol.
Optional Input Hardware Installation is
complete:
After any or all the above connections have been made the
Polycom FX unit can be turned on with the rocker switch labeled with 0
(off) and 1 (on).
