The remote control is the primary device for managing the configuration and operation of the Polycom SP and FX videoconference units. Each button is labeled to perform a specific task. However, some buttons may perform multiple tasks depending on the current operation being performed. When communicating with a remote Polycom unit, the local remote control unit can also manipulate the remote videoconference unit if it has been configured to allow remote access.
