The Polycom SP model can be expanded to support one, optional input device. All cables and receptacles are color coded.

 

 
VCR/DVD Player:
Audio-out - locate this symbol that is next to the associated receptacles on the back of the VCR/DVD player to send audio signals.
Right audio - Insert the red plug into the receptacle with a red color or labeled "audio out".
Left audio - Insert the white plug into the receptacle with a white color or labeled "audio out".
Video-out - locate this symbol that is located next to the associated receptacles on the back of the Polycom SP unit.
Composite video - Insert the yellow RCA plug into the output receptacle with a yellow color or labeled "video out".
 
Polycom SP connections for VCR/DVD Player:
Audio-in - locate this symbol that is next to the associated receptacles on the back of the Polycom SP unit to receive audio signals.
Right audio - Insert the red plug into the receptacle with a red color on the left.
Left audio - Insert the white plug into the receptacle with a white color on the left.
Video-in - locate this symbol that is next to the associated receptacles on the back of the Polycom FX unit to input video signals.
Composite video - Insert the yellow RCA plug into the composite/S-video adapter and than into the S-Video receptacle with a yellow color on the left. There is no composite video input.
 
Polycom SP connections for Elmo or 2nd Camera:

S-video - Insert the yellow plug into the receptacle with an camera-2 and VCR symbol.

   
Optional Input Hardware Installation is complete:

After any or all the above connections have been made the Polycom FX unit can be turned on with the rocker switch labeled with 0 (off) and 1 (on).
