Preface

This documentation is provided as a resource to support the videoconference activities within IFAS. It is a work in progress that will attempt to provide simple instructions and an understanding of the various videoconference equipment used throughout the Institute. The table of content lists the topics that currently exist or are being considered for future documentation.

An extensive reference library is also available that contains a collection of more that 100 documents with over 3600 pages of technical information. It includes all known documentation that was distributed with, or should have been included with the videoconference equipment in current use.

If there is any area of this web site that needs new or expanded documentation, please contact the author.

The web site is designed to work with any screen resolution.

If  any part of this site is to be printed
it is suggested that the printer settings
be changed to 0.5 inch borders on all sides
and that it includes the background
to improve the appearance and readability.

 With Internet Explorer the background can be printed by selecting

Tools Menu > Internet Options > Advanced Tab
and select the option to
"Print background colors and images"

Remember to reset this option when
finished printing the desired pages.
 

It is suggested that any printing be done using Internet Explorer. Attempts to print this document from the Firefox (version 1.01) browser resulted in unacceptable quality.
